Heat Pump Week
April 11–19, 2026
Vision
Heat pumps are a cornerstone of the clean energy future, which is why Governor Gavin Newsom has set a goal of installing 6 million of them in California by 2030. To help accelerate adoption and meet that goal, the California Heat Pump Partnership (CAHPP) is hosting Heat Pump Week on April 11-19, 2026.
Heat Pump Week is a statewide activation including marquee events, contractor celebrations, and grass roots enthusiasm all aimed at raising awareness of heat pumps. The wave of activity will showcase California’s leadership and momentum in building the market for heat pumps.
Get involved
Partners are encouraged to host, co-host, or participate in Heat Pump Week events across California.
Activities include:
- Community events hosted by cities, Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs), and developers
- Workforce activations and distributor events with contractors
- A paid media campaign to raise awareness
- Sharing of testimonials and heat pump enthusiasm across all owned channels
The CAHPP team will ensure widespread media coverage and will provide resources to partners to help design, activate, and promote activities during Heat Pump Week. Submit a request to get started, and join us in celebrating heat pumps.
